THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KEY WEST HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN GULF OF MEXICO...INCLUDING DRY
TORTUGAS NATIONAL PARK...PULASKI SHOAL...AND NEW GROUND ROCKS LIGHT.

* VISIBILITY...SATELLITE IMAGES FROM THE INFRARED CHANNELS AND
  REPORTS FROM THE RANGERS AT DRY TORTUGAS NATIONAL PARK INDICATE
  THAT AREAS OF DENSE FOG HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS THE EXTREME
  SOUTHEASTERN GULF OF MEXICO THIS MORNING...WITH VISIBILITIES BELOW
  ONE MILE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS
THAN ONE MILE. IN ADDITION...VISIBILITY IN FOG SUDDENLY CAN DROP
TO NEAR ZERO...MAKING TRAVELING OVER THE WATER HAZARDOUS AT ANY
SPEED. BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN VISIBILITY CHANGES. BOATERS SHOULD
ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION.
