.NOW...
A COUPLE OF BANDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE DYING
REMAINS OF ODILE IN NORTHERN MEXICO ARE CONTINUING EAST
NORTHEASTWARD AROUND 15 MPH ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
BORDERLAND. EXPECT SCATTERED MODERATE TO STRONG SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NEXT TWO HOURS. WEATHER RADAR IS
SHOWING THAT MANY STORMS HAVE PRODUCED OVER AN INCH OF RAIN IN
LESS THAN AN HOUR IN MANY LOCATIONS. WITH A SUPER MOIST AND
UNSTABLE AIR MASS IN PLACE AND CONSIDERABLE WET GROUND OVER MANY
AREAS...THE POTENTIAL REMAINS VERY HIGH FOR FLASH FLOODING. SMALL
HAIL WITH WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS
ALSO POSSIBLE WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. FORECAST MODELS SHOW
THAT THIS ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE AND MAY INTENSIFY INTO THE
NIGHT. CONTINUE TO KEEP A HIGH LEVEL OF WEATHER AWARENESS AND
NEVER ENTER ANY AREAS WHERE WATER IS PONDING ON OR RUNNING ACROSS
ROADWAYS.
