Through 330 PM...A band of moderate to locally heavy snow will
move northeast at 10 to 15 mph...extending from the Columbia
River Gorge and North-Central Oregon to the eastern Oregon
mountains. The heaviest snow will be experienced across the
Columbia Basin extending east to the Blue Mountains...where
snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour. Travelers this
afternoon should slow down...leave additional space from the
vehicle ahead of you...and be prepared for rapid reductions
in visibility and snow covered roads.
