URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE QUAD CITIES IA IL
408 AM CDT SUN JUL 24 2016

...ANOTHER DAY OF DANGEROUS HEAT...

.ONE MORE ROUND OF HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR TODAY AHEAD
OF AN INCOMING FRONTAL SYSTEM. HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO AROUND 110
DEGREES WILL MAKE FOR OPPRESSIVE OUTDOOR CONDITIONS FROM LATE
MORNING AND THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...EARLY EVENING HOURS. THERE
ALSO WILL BE AN ELEVATED RISK FOR HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT STROKE
DURING THESE TIME FRAMES. THE ACCUMULATIVE EFFECT OF SEVERAL DAYS
IN A ROW WITH THIS KIND OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL ALSO BE A
FACTOR. LESS HUMID AND NOT AS HOT CONDITIONS WILL THEN FOLLOW IN
BEHIND THE COOL FRONT FOR THE START OF THE UPCOMING WEEK.
