.DIMINISHING WIND SPEEDS THIS MORNING WILL ALLOW FOR BETTER
RADIATIONAL COOLING BY SUNRISE...ALLOWING TEMPERATURES IN
SEVERAL AREAS EAST OF THE BLUE RIDGE TO FALL TO FREEZING.

COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD EAST THROUGH THE
MORNING...SPILLING ACROSS THE APPALACHIANS LATER TODAY TO
WEDGE AGAINST THE EASTERN FACE OF THE MOUNTAINS BY TONIGHT.
CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT NORTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR A NIGHT
OF STRONG RADIATIONAL COOLING...CAUSING TEMPERATURES TO AGAIN
FALL BELOW FREEZING.

* IMPACTS...VEGETATION SENSITIVE TO FREEZING OR NEAR FREEZING
  TEMPERATURES MAY BE DAMAGED.
