Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A front will enter the NW waters this morning and move to the SE
waters by Tuesday night, before weakening to a trough and becoming
nearly stationary. A new high will build NW of the area Wednesday
night.

to 20 kt. NW half, NW to N winds 15 to 25 kt. Elsewhere, S to SW
winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 12 ft. Scattered thunderstorms.
.TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT...Front over SE waters. SE waters, S to
SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Rest of area, NW to N winds 10 to 20 kt.

.WEDNESDAY...Trough far SE waters. Far SE waters, S winds 10 to 15
