312 AM CST SUN DEC 10 2017

...ELEVATED FIRE THREAT SUNDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS MOST OF NORTH
TEXAS...

UNSEASONABLY WARM CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR TODAY AND RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL FALL INTO THE TEENS AND LOW 20S ACROSS MOST
OF NORTH TEXAS. VERY LIMITED RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED ACROSS THESE
AREAS RECENTLY AND ERC VALUES ARE BECOMING QUITE FAVORABLE FOR
FUEL IGNITION. IN ADDITION...WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO 15
MPH THIS AFTERNOON. THIS COMBINATION OF CONDITIONS WILL CREATE AN
ENVIRONMENT FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND SPREAD OF
GRASSFIRES.

EXTREME CARE IS URGED DURING ALL OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES WHERE THERE
IS A POTENTIAL FOR GRASS FIRES TO GET STARTED. AVOID OUTSIDE
BURNING AND WELDING. DO NOT TOSS LIT CIGARETTE BUTTS OUTSIDE.
