...LIMITED FIRE DANGER THREAT TODAY EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS...

A LIMITED FIRE DANGER THREAT WILL EXIST TODAY ACROSS EASTERN
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AS BREEZY WINDS, WELL ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES, AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES DEVELOP.

SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS AT SPEEDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH THIS MORNING
WILL BECOME WEST TO NORTHWEST THIS AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT
PASSES THROUGH THE AREA. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES FROM 20 TO
25 PERCENT WILL PREVAIL ACROSS MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND WEST
CENTRAL ARKANSAS, WITH 25 TO 30 PERCENT VALUES IN FAR NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL INCREASE
TOWARD SUNSET.

BURN BANS ARE CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR ADAIR, SEQUOYAH, HASKELL,
LATIMER, LE FLORE, MCINTOSH, PITTSBURG AND WAGONER COUNTIES IN
EASTERN OKLAHOMA, AND WASHINGTON, CRAWFORD, SEBASTIAN, FRANKLIN,
MADISON, AND CARROLL COUNTIES IN WESTERN ARKANSAS.
