.DISCUSSION...Mostly sunny and breezy conditions are expected
today with highs in the 40s. Minimum relative humidity will be 30
to 40 percent. Winds will be Northwest at 20 to 30 mph with some
higher gusts.

The grassland fire danger index will reach the high category this
afternoon. Unfavorable weather conditions or a low moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that there is a moderate to high potential for a fire
occurrence. Outdoor burning should be restricted to early morning
or evening hours when wind speeds are usually lower and the
relative humidity is higher.

The outlook for Sunday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category to high category.
