fallen in Southern New England. Rain totals and liquid equivalents
range from 1 inch to nearly 4 inches.

Looking ahead, scattered showers will continue into tonight. The next
48 hours will be cloudy but dry with the next chance of precipitation
being next week.

Area main stem river levels are expected to rise over the next 24
to 48 hours, but no flooding is expected.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
