HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
824 PM EST SAT FEB 25 2017

The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 4.7
feet at 8 PM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.3 feet Monday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage had
fallen to 6.0 feet at 7 PM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.
Flood stage is 8.0 feet.  At 6.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect
minor flooding of low lying areas adjacent to the river..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
