Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
230 AM CST Thu Jan 18 2018

Quiet weather continued across the region overnight, with just some
passing higher level clouds arriving late. Temperatures were much
warmer than recent nights, holding mainly in the upper teens and
lower 20s.

Milder weather is on the way as we wrap up the work week and head
into the first half of the weekend, courtesy of southerly winds
drawing in much warmer conditions. Outside of some passing clouds, a
good deal of sunshine is expected today and Friday, with high
temperatures this afternoon warming through the 30s, and reaching
the 40s in many areas on Friday. Similarly warm conditions will
continue on Saturday as well, before chances for rain and snow
increase toward Sunday with the approach of low pressure.
