ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WAS CENTERED OVER NORTHERN MANITOBA AND
SASKATCHEWAN...WITH THE HIGH PRESSURE AXIS EXTENDING INTO THE
EASTERN DAKOTAS AND WESTERN MINNESOTA. THE HIGH PRESSURE CENTER IS
FORECAST TO MOVE SOUTH AND SETTLE OVER THE RED RIVER VALLEY LATER
TODAY...AND MOVE INTO MINNESOTA AND IOWA FRIDAY NIGHT.

LOW TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM AROUND 20
BELOW OVER SOUTHERN MANITOBA TO THE 20S ABOVE ZERO OVER WESTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHEASTERN MONTANA.

LIGHT SNOW CONTINUES TO DIMINISH OVER WESTERN PARTS OF THE NORTHERN
PLAINS...BUT IS EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP OVER MONTANA FRIDAY AFTERNOON
AND SPREAD INTO THE WESTERN DAKOTAS FRIDAY NIGHT. WARMER AIR MOVING
INTO WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION AS THE ARCTIC HIGH MOVES
SOUTHEAST WILL BRING CHANCES OF A WINTRY MIX FRIDAY NIGHT AND INTO
SATURDAY. CHANCES OF SNOW WILL BE GREATER OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF
THE NORTHERN PLAINS ON SATURDAY.

HIGHS FRIDAY SHOULD RANGE FROM AROUND 5 BELOW OVER SOUTHERN MANITOBA
TO THE UPPER 30S OVER SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
