A little light snow stretched from northeastern Montana into north
central North Dakota early this Thursday morning. Meanwhile, a low
pressure system was organizing over the Rocky Mountains. That low
will spread heavy snow across parts of southern South Dakota on
Thursday and into southern Minnesota Thursday night and Friday. A
seasonably cool air mass will be in place through Friday over the
rest of the region, with patchy fog and a slight chance of light
snow in some areas.

Lows tonight will mainly range from the mid 20s to lower 30s.
Highs Thursday will range from the mid 20s to the mid 30s.
