WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO/ROMEOVILLE IL
1120 AM CDT FRI MAY 22 2015

SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA IN THE LATE MORNING. MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM
THE UPPER 30S TO UPPER 40S. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES ROSE TO THE
LOW TO MID 60S...EXCEPT ALONG THE LAKEFRONT IN THE LOW TO MID 50S.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SOUTH ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES FROM
CANADA...WHICH WILL BRING MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES FOR THE REST OF THE
DAY. MUCH OF THE REGION WILL WARM INTO THE LOW 70S...ALTHOUGH A
LAKE BREEZE MOVING INLAND SHOULD LIMIT TEMPERATURES ALONG THE LAKE
TO THE LOW TO MID 50S AND LOCATIONS A LITTLE FURTHER INLAND WILL
LIKELY ONLY SEE HIGHS IN THE LOW 60S. FOR THE WEEKEND...SATURDAY
WILL REMAIN DRY WITH INCREASING CLOUD COVER. HIGHS LOOK TO BE IN
THE MID TO UPPER 70S WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES NEAR THE LAKE. THERE
IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY AS
LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES THE REGION FROM THE SOUTHWEST. HIGHS BOTH
DAYS WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S.
