NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
319 AM CST Sun Dec 28 2014
Rain moved across the area from west to east during the evening
hours on Saturday. By 300 am, all of the precipitation was out of
the area except for maybe some areas of drizzle. Temperatures were
in the mid to upper 30s with northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.
High pressure will build into the area today and drier air will
finally work its way into the region. This will allow clouds to slowly
decrease throughout the day and into the evening from west to
east. Partly cloudy skies will greet us on Monday morning as highs
reach into the low 40s. Dry but colder conditions are expected on
Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs only in the 30s.
Our next chance for precipitation will arrive late Thursday night
into Friday. There are some indications that there could be some
wintry precipitation at the onset of this event, otherwise rain is
expected to last through Saturday morning.
