...SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL THIS WEEK HAS INCREASED THE LANDSLIDE THREAT
IN WESTERN WASHINGTON THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY...

Recent rainfall has increased soil moisture to high levels across
Western Washington. Additional heavy rainfall occurred Wednesday
night through early Thursday afternoon. Lowland areas got another
quarter to one inch of rain during this period, which should
maintain the heightened threat of landslides.
