...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN BOURBON AND NORTHWESTERN
CRAWFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM CDT...

At 345 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hepler to near Walnut to St. Paul.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Scott, Marmaton, Uniontown, Walnut, Redfield, Hepler,
Hiattville, Petersburg, Porterville, Pawnee Station, and Hammond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
