WAS LOCATED BY SATELLITE NEAR LATITUDE 14.5 DEGREES NORTH AND
LONGITUDE 143.5 DEGREES EAST...MOVING WEST AT 13 MPH. CHABA WILL
MOVE AWAY FROM THE MARIANAS ALONG A WESTWARD TRACK TODAY THEN TURN
NORTHWEST WITH SLIGHTLY SLOWER FORWARD MOTION TONIGHT.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS REMAIN 35 MPH. CHABA IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY
STRENGTHEN AND BECOME A TROPICAL STORM THIS AFTERNOON.
