...SNOW EXPECTED TO CONTINUE IN AREA MOUNTAINS INTO THE EVENING...

.A STRONG PACIFIC STORM WILL CONTINUE TO BRING MOUNTAIN SNOWS AND
STRONG WINDS TO THE AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL
OCCUR ABOVE 6000 FEET WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS BETWEEN 5000 AND 6000
FEET. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LIGHT BUT WHEN COMBINED
WITH THE STRONG WINDS WILL LEAD TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND CREATE
TRAVEL PROBLEMS. THE WIND AND SNOW WILL END THIS EVENING OVER THE
GILA AND BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING IN THE SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS.

  FEET. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED.
  TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 14 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED
  ABOVE 6000-6500 FEET WITH LESSER AMOUNTS BELOW THAT LEVEL.
  STRONG WINDS INTO THE EVENING WILL CAUSE NEAR BLIZZARD
  CONDITIONS IN OPEN AREAS.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS...MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES WILL
  CONTINUE OFF AND ON THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROAD CLOSURES WILL BE POSSIBLE AND DANGEROUS
  DRIVING CONDITIONS LIKELY ON MOUNTAIN ROADS ABOVE 6000 FEET.

* OTHER IMPACTS...STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS INTO THE EVENING WILL

  SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH TOTAL
  SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 12 INCHES ABOVE 8000 FEET WITH 2
  TO 6 INCHES BELOW 8000 FEET. STRONG WINDS MAY CAUSE WIDESPREAD
  POWER OUTAGES AND NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN OPEN AREAS.

* TIMING...HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE OFF AND ON THROUGH
  EARLY SUNDAY.
