THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA...

.LOW PRESSURE MOVING OUT OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL BRING
WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION TO MUCH OF UPPER MICHIGAN INTO FRIDAY.
A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL CHANGE TO MAINLY SNOW THIS EVENING...
ESPECIALLY OVER THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA. THE SNOW MAY FALL HEAVY AT
TIMES TONIGHT. GUSTY EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS COULD CAUSE PATCHY
BLOWING SNOW. CONDITIONS WILL SLOWLY IMPROVE DURING THE DAY FRIDAY.

 * A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL CHANGE TO MAINLY SNOW THIS EVENING.
   THE SNOW MAY FALL HEAVY AT TIMES TONIGHT...THEN SLOWLY DIMINISH ON
   FRIDAY MORNING.

 * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH THE
   HIGHEST AMOUNTS ACROSS THE ELEVATED TERRAIN FROM HANCOCK THROUGH
   MOHAWK.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW AND SLUSH COVERED.

 * GUSTY EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH TONIGHT MAY RESULT IN
   PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
