SNOW ACROSS THE IDAHO PANHANDLE THIS WEEKEND...

.WIDESPREAD HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
IDAHO PANHANDLE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THIS STORM WILL
LIKELY PRODUCE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT SNOW SO FAR THIS SEASON FOR
THE VALLEY COMMUNITIES OF BONNERS FERRY...SANDPOINT...COEUR
D`ALENE...KELLOGG...AND ST MARIES. MOTORISTS SHOULD ANTICIPATE
WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS OVER MUCH OF THE IDAHO PANHANDLE BY THE
MIDDLE OF SATURDAY MORNING...AND TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS
WILL LIKELY LINGER INTO AT LEAST SUNDAY MORNING. PLEASE PLAN YOUR

SUNDAY MORNING...

* VALLEY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 9 INCHES.

* MOUNTAIN SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...8 TO 12 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS OF
  BONNER AND BOUNDARY COUNTY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 16
  INCHES FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF SHOSHONE COUNTY INCLUDING THE
  LOOKOUT PASS AREA ON INTERSTATE 90.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AND
  INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST
  ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY
  NIGHT.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH. RIDGE TOPS AND EXPOSED AREAS
  WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH SATURDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY SNOW WILL RESULT IN SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS.
  TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY OCCUR DURING A BUSY
  HOLIDAY TRAVEL PERIOD. LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED
  IN THE MOUNTAINS...AS WELL AS POSSIBLY ON HIGHWAY 95 BETWEEN
  MOSCOW AND COEUR D`ALENE.
