URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW CONTINUES ACROSS THE INLAND NORTHWEST...

.A slow moving low pressure system will produce periods of light
to moderate snow this afternoon through Tuesday. The most
significant accumulations will likely occur over the
Palouse...Blue Mountains...and the central and southern Idaho
Panhandle.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has cancelled the Winter
Weather Advisory. A combination of lighter snow intensities and
warmer road temperatures have limited the threat for additional
significant snow. Anticipate snow showers decreasing through the
day, but picking up again by midday Monday. Additional snow
accumulations should be an inch or less.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has cancelled the Winter
Weather Advisory. A combination of lighter snow intensities and
warmer road temperatures have limited the threat for additional
significant snow. Anticipate snow showers decreasing through the
day, but increasing again late Monday morning and afternoon.
Additional snow accumulations should be less than 2 inches.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST
TUESDAY...

* Locations...Moscow, Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Kellogg,
  Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth of July Pass,
  Dobson Pass, Lookout Pass, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La
  Crosse, Oakesdale, Tekoa, and Uniontown.

* Snow Accumulations...an additional 2 to 5 inches of snow across the
  Palouse and valleys with 5 to 10 inches in the mountains.

* Timing...Periods of light to moderate snow are expected today.
  There may be a period tonight when the snow stops before
  redeveloping on Monday into Tuesday morning.

* Impacts...Roadways will be snow covered and slick occasionally
  the next couple of days. Road temperatures will be the coldest
  at night and early in the morning...and driving conditions may
  be hazardous especially on untreated roads.

* Snow Accumulations...an additional 4 to 8 inches mainly on the
  Camas Prairie.

* Timing...Periods of light to moderate snow are expected through
  the evening. Snow may decrease slightly overnight, but increase
  Monday through Tuesday morning.

* Impacts...Roadways will be snow covered and slick occasionally
  the next couple of days. Road temperatures will be the coldest
  at night and early in the morning...and driving conditions may
  be hazardous especially on untreated roads.
