...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 6 AM
PST SATURDAY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 4000 FEET...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY
TO 6 AM PST SATURDAY.

* HAZARD TYPE...SNOW.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...STEVENS PASS AND MOUNT BAKER SKI AREA.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 14 INCHES IN THE 20 HOUR PERIOD FROM
  LATE FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...FRIDAY DURING THE DAY...SNOW WILL RAMP UP AT STEVENS
  AND CHANGE FROM A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW TO SNOW AT MT BAKER SKI
  AREA. THE SNOW WILL THEN BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES FRIDAY EVENING
  AND FRIDAY NIGHT...AND TAPER OFF INTO SHOWERS LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...DRIVERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING
  CONDITIONS ABOVE 4000 FEET...INCLUDING STEVENS PASS. AT THIS
  TIME IT APPEARS THAT SNOQUALMIE PASS WILL REMAIN BELOW SNOW
  LEVEL AND MOSTLY GET RAIN.
