PARTS OF EASTERN NM DUE TO STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
AND AN UNSTABLE AIRMASS...

.DISCUSSION...
Strong northwest winds will continue over parts of the area today
with very low humidity and warming temperatures. Critical conditions
will be mainly focused from Clines Corners to Santa Rosa today. The
next weather system will pass north of NM Wednesday and Thursday
with marginal to locally critical fire weather across the upper Rio
Grande Valley and the I-25 corridor of northeast NM. Temperatures
will trend much warmer with gusty west to southwest winds. A moist
backdoor cold front will slide into eastern NM Thursday with much
higher humidity and a nice stretch of relief from critical conditions
through the weekend. Overnight recoveries will be good to excellent
each morning. The rest of central and western NM will remain very
dry and warm with slight breezes through the end of the week.
