...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, including the
  following areas, Northern Litchfield and Southern Litchfield and
  east central New York, including the following areas, Eastern
  Dutchess and Western Dutchess.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Around 2 inches of rain is expected Saturday through Saturday
    night with locally higher amounts. This rainfall could
    produce flooding in urban and poor drainage areas as well as
    low lying areas. Some minor river flooding is also possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
