...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL TALLAPOOSA AND
SOUTHERN COOSA COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM CDT...

At 1148 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lyle, or near Rockford, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Alexander City, Rockford, Kellyton, Equality, Speed, Lyle,
Pentonville, Dollar, Bradford, Cottage Grove, Western Lake Martin,
Bentleyville, Highway 9 and Highway 22, Moriah, Nixburg, Crewsville,
Mitchell Lake, Fishpond, Ray, and Hissop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for central and
east central Alabama.
