Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
407 PM EDT Tue May 7 2024

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure slides offshore tonight, which will allow a warm
front to lift toward our region into early Wednesday. The warm
front lifts through by late on Wednesday, while the trailing cold
front slides through.

Dry weather until late tonight where showers spread in from west
to east. Maximum relative humidities of 75 to 100 percent. After
morning showers there may be a brief lull before there is another
round of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon. Minimum
relative humidities of 65 to 80 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Saturday...

A front will be stalled nearby to our south late this week
through at least early Saturday. This allows a few lows to ride
along the front bringing periods of showers Thursday and Friday.
A weak high builds in for Saturday.
