...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WEBB AND
SOUTHWESTERN LA SALLE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1108 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Artesia Wells to near
Encinal to near Columbia Bridge. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Encinal, Las Tiendas, Botines, La Esperanza Ranch Airport, Columbia
Bridge, Fort Ewell Site, and Callaghan.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 16 and 50.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 698.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
