This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Elevated to near critical fire risk Tuesday afternoon south of
the Arkansas river.

There is a marginal risk (<15%) for severe thunderstorms east of
a Larned to Coldwater line late Tuesday. Main hazards will be 1
to 2 inch hail and strong gusty winds.

Near critical or isolated critical fire risk Wednesday west of a
Sublette to Liberal line.

There is a slight risk (15-30%) for severe thunderstorms east of
highway 83 late Wednesday. A few of the strongest storms will be
capable of producing hail larger than 2 inches and strong damaging
winds. A few tornadoes will also be possible.
