CENTRAL...SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL KANSAS.

A few severe thunderstorms can be expected in south central Kansas
primarily south of a line from Ashland to Pratt. The main hazard
from these thunderstorms will be hail up to the size of quarters.

THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE TUESDAY
AND CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY. ALTHOUGH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
ARE NOT EXPECTED IT DOES APPEAR WIDESPREAD BENEFICIAL RAINFALL
FOR WESTERN KANSAS is likely. Another upper level low will
approach the central part of the country next weekend and will
provide another opportunity for widespread rain with embedded
thunderstorms.
