THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...SOUTH
CENTRAL...SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF FOG EARLY THIS MORNING NORTH OF HIGHWAY 96 WILL LOCALLY
REDUCE VISIBILITIES DOWN TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES THROUGH 9 AM.

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND
PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. IF THUNDERSTORMS DO DEVELOP, A
FEW OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING UP
TO HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH.

ANOTHER CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN KANSAS AS AN UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH CROSSES THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL
AND GUSTY WINDS CURRENTLY APPEAR TO BE THE MAIN HAZARD FROM THESE
THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY, MAINLY EARLY IN THE DAY. CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING WILL BE THE MAIN HAZARD.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR SPOTTER ACTIVATION AFTER 5 PM
ALONG AND EAST OF A HAYS TO KINSLEY TO MEDICINE LODGE LINE.
