This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

Day 1 Discussion

Limited fire weather conditions will exist this afternoon as gusty
south winds at 15 to 25 mph develop.

* Fire weather: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
-------------------

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be possible
on Friday west of highway 183 as gusty south winds of 20 to 30 mph
develop and relative humidity values fall back into the 17 to 25
percent range. The lower relative humidity values on Friday will
be south and southwest of Dodge City. Outdoor burning on Friday is
discouraged.

Windy and dry conditions will continue through the weekend period.
Limited to elevated fire danger levels will continue for much of
western Kansas Saturday and again on Sunday.
