This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

Patchy fog is possible through sunrise across the southeast
counties. A dry cold front will end any fog potential by

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

The quiet dry weather will continue. Strong dry cold fronts are
expected Friday night and again Monday night, with strong gusty
north winds. Unseasonably warm temperatures and strong gusty
west to southwest winds will result in an elevated risk of
wildfire spread Friday afternoon, especially south and west of
Dodge City. Winds gusts near 40 mph are expected along the
Oklahoma border Friday afternoon. Light rain and/or snow showers
are possible across the northern counties early Saturday morning,
but no impacts are expected.
