This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
----------------

There is a good chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and
tonight, especially across far western Kansas. These storms
could be severe with hail as large as golf balls and wind gusts
as high as 70 mph. If the storms arrive in the late afternoon
then large hail would be a bigger threat. If storms form over
Colorado and arrive late in the evening over western Kansas then
wind and smaller hail would be more likely.
