Hydrologic Statement

455 AM CDT Thu May 11 2017

. Heavy rainfall across portions of northwest Kansas Wednesday night
will produce significant rises in the Saline River and Smoky Hill River
today and Friday. No flooding is expected but rapid rises in these
rivers will be observed.

For the Saline River Near Wakeeney 5N, the latest stage is 2.7 feet
at 04 AM Thursday. The flood stage is 13 feet. The river is expected
to crest at 11.4 feet late  Friday afternoon.

For the Smoky Hill River Near Arnold 12N, the latest stage is 1.5
feet at 04 AM Thursday. The flood state is 7 feet. The river is expected
to crest at 6.9 feet Friday afternoon.

Continue to monitor noaa all hazards radio or commercial broadcasts
for further information.
