A quiet weather pattern with clear skies and light winds were
common across western Kansas overnight. Low temperatures ranged
from the upper 50s in northwestern Kansas to the mid 60s in south
central Kansas.

An upper level disturbance over the western United States will
drift across the northern periphery of an upper level ridge over
the Rocky Mountains. A surface trough across eastern colorado and
western Kansas will strengthen today and continue to show very
little movement. Mostly sunny skies are expected today with an
increased chance for showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon.

Highs today will climb into the mid and upper 90s across the
Central Plains. Lows tonight will range from the lower 60s in
eastern Colorado to the lower 70s in south central Kansas.
