SOME LIGHT RAIN HAD SPREAD INTO THE EXTREME SOUTHWEST PORTION OF
KANSAS OVERNIGHT AROUND THE ELKHART AREA. JUST OVER HALF AN INCH
OF RAIN HAD FALLEN BY LATE MORNING AT ELKHART. THE REMAINDER OF
WESTERN KANSAS WAS PARTLY CLOUDY OVERNIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES
WERE MAINLY IN THE MID 60S EXCEPT FOR UPPER 50S IN THE NORTHWEST
CORNER.

UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE WILL EXTEND FROM CENTRAL TEXAS TO NEVADA
THROUGH TONIGHT, WHILE WEAK SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE EXTENDS FROM THE
SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS TO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY REGION. MILD
WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
RAIN CHANCES WILL BE MOSTLY CONFINED TO THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS
THROUGH TONIGHT. THE REMAINDER OF THE REGION SHOULD BE MOSTLY DRY.
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT ACROSS NEBRASKA AND INTO PARTS OF NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN KANSAS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE MAINLY IN THE UPPER 80S
TO LOWER 90S. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 60 IN THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE TO THE LOWER 70S FROM SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS TO
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
