AFTER AN EVENING OF SEVERE WEATHER OVER SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND
WINTER WEATHER FARTHER NORTH. A COLD FRONT SWEPT SOUTH ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS BRINGING COLDER TEMPERATURES AND STRONG NORTHERLY
WINDS BEHIND THE BOUNDARY. LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER
20S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE UPPER 40S IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE AWAY FROM THE
CENTRAL PLAINS TODAY AS IT HEADS FOR THE UPPER MIDWEST. MEANWHILE,
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD INTO THE WESTERN HIGH
PLAINS AS A RATHER INTENSE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ALSO MOVES OFF INTO
THE MIDWEST.  MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO SETTLE INTO
THE PLAINS TODAY WITH STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS CONTINUING THROUGH THE
EVENING HOURS. VERY LITTLE CHANGE IN TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED
THROUGH MID WEEK.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS IN NORTHEASTERN
COLORADO TO THE LOWER 30S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. HIGHS ON TUESDAY WILL
RANGE FROM THE LOWER 30S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO THE MID 40S IN
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
