REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Western Kansas had a sunny morning sky and generally northwest to
north winds. The morning low temperatures ranged from the lower 20s
to the lower 30s.
High pressure aloft will move from the Intermountain States across
the Central Plains tonight. An upper level disturbance will move
from the southwest United States across southern Colorado early
Friday. At the surface, a weak cold front extended from southeast
Colorado across southern Kansas this morning. This front will move
into northern Oklahoma and become nearly stationary later today.
The Central Plains will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy
Afternoon high temperatures will range from around 40 degrees in
Nebraska to the upper 40s in southeast Kansas and the upper 50s in
southern Oklahoma. Overnight low temperatures are expected to range
from the upper teens in eastern Nebraska to around 20 degrees in
much of Kansas and the mid 20s in northern Oklahoma.
