SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE FIRST ROUND BROUGHT STRONG WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 65 MPH AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL TO SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS. LARGE
TREE LIMBS WERE BLOWN DOWN AT THE 4 H BUILDING IN ULYSSES. HIGHS
TODAY RANGED FROM THE UPPER 60S IN SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS TO THE LOWER
80S IN THE SOUTHEASTERN HALF OF THE STATE.

AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WHICH BROUGHT THUNDERSTORMS TO THE
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS THIS
EVENING. THIS FEATURE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS
ON SUNDAY. MEANWHILE, SURFACE TROUGHING OVER EASTERN COLORADO WILL
MOVE INTO SOUTH DAKOTA BY SUNDAY MORNING. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
ONGOING ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS TONIGHT WITH DRIER
CONDITIONS EXPECTED ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS. SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED
ON SUNDAY. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RETURN ON TUESDAY.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 40S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO
THE LOWER 60S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL RANGE FROM
THE UPPER 60S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE LOWER 80S FROM
SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS TO CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
