REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS
930 PM CDT TUE APR 15 2014

What a difference a day makes, as breezy south winds and warmer
temperatures replaced yesterdays chilly air and snowfall. High
temperatures today ranged from the mid 60s in eastern Colorado to
the lower 70s in extreme southwestern Kansas.

Westerly flow aloft can be expected over the Central Plains tonight
ahead of another disturbance over the Northern Rockies. This
feature will move across the Northern and Central Plains on
Wednesday and usher in another cold front. Partly cloudy skies and
breezy south winds are forecast for tonight. For Wednesday, mostly
sunny skies and breezy south winds will shift to the north in
response to the aforementioned surface feature. Rain chances will
also increase late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Lows tonight will range from the mid 30s in northeastern Colorado to
the lower 40s in central Oklahoma. Highs on Wednesday will range
from the mid 50s in northeastern Colorado to the lower 70s in
central Oklahoma.
