MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES IN WESTERN KANSAS VARIED FROM THE LOWER
TEENS TO THE MID 20S. THE AREA HAD A SUNNY MORNING SKY.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE EXTENDING SOUTH OVER THE
INTERMOUNTAIN WEST WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE ROCKIES TONIGHT. AT THE
SURFACE, HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED IN EASTERN NEBRASKA WILL MOVE EAST.
A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO FORM IN THE LEE OF THE
COLORADO ROCKIES LATE TODAY. SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL LEAD TO WARMING
TEMPERATURES IN THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS. EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA
AND NORTHWEST KANSAS COULD HAVE FREEZING FOG LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
FRIDAY. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR PATCHY LIGHT DRIZZLE IN SOUTHEAST
KANSAS AND A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN EASTERN
OKLAHOMA OVERNIGHT.

AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 40S IN WESTERN
NEBRASKA TO THE LOWER 50S IN WESTERN KANSAS AND THE LOWER 60S IN
SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE
FROM LOWER TEENS IN EASTERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOWER 20S ACROSS
NORTHERN KANSAS AND THE 20S IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE.
