Skies were mostly clear across western Kansas during the overnight
hours. Conditions were dry and quiet across the Central Plains.
Winds were light out of the south until around sunrise when they
began to increase. Lows dropped into the lower 50s across western
Kansas.

An upper level low pressure system will move into western Wyoming
this afternoon. At the surface, low pressure will quickly build
in northeastern Colorado. Dry and quiet weather is expected this
afternoon before a chance for isolated storms moves into
northwestern Kansas this evening. The greatest risk with these
storms will be winds in excess of 50 mph with hail around the size
of quarters.

Highs today will limb into the low to mid 80s in eastern Colorado
and across Kansas. Lows tonight will range from the mid to upper
40s in eastern Colorado and extreme western Kansas to the mid to
upper 50s across the rest of the state.
