REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Mostly clear skies across western Kansas during the morning turned
to mostly cloudy skies by late this afternoon. Winds remained
light from the northwest today. Afternoon high temperatures ranged
from the mid 40s to upper 50s in western Kansas, with low to mid
60s in central Kansas.
Northwesterly flow aloft will become more westerly by tomorrow
evening, while surface high pressure builds across the Central
Plains. Little significant weather is expected over the next 24
hours, with temperatures remaining on the cool side.
Overnight low temperatures will drop into the upper teens in
eastern Colorado through far western Kansas, with low to upper 20s
across the rest of western Kansas. From central through eastern
Kansas, lows will be in the low 30s. Highs tomorrow will only
reach the low 40s to low 50s in western Kansas, with mid 50s
across the rest of the state.
