REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Western Kansas had a clear night sky and sunny morning. Low
temperatures varied from around 20 degrees to the upper 20s.

A ridge of upper level high pressure will continue moving east
across the Rockies today. An upper level storm system in the Pacific
Northwest will proceed south of the Canadian border and into the
Northern Plains early Wednesday. A trough of low pressure will
continue in eastern Colorado through this evening. A cold front will
move southeast across the Nebraska Panhandle late this evening and
into northwest Kansas early Wednesday. The Central Plains will be
mostly sunny and warm this afternoon and partly cloudy tonight.

Afternoon high temperatures will range from the lower 60s in
Nebraska to the mid 60s in southern Kansas and both the Oklahoma and
the Texas Panhandles. Overnight low temperatures are expected in the
mid to upper 30s in the Central Plains.
