MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS UNTIL EARLY
AFTERNOON, WHEN MID AND HIGH CLOUDS BROUGHT PARTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS
TO THE AREA. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 40S IN FAR
WESTERN AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS, TO THE LOW TO MID 50S ACROSS THE REST
OF THE STATE.

NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE PLAINS STATES THROUGH
THE WEEKEND, AS AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS ALONG
THE WEST COAST. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE ROCKY
MOUNTAIN REGION, WITH A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING TOMORROW
ALONG THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES, WHICH THEN MOVES INTO THE CENTRAL
PLAINS BY EVENING. LITTLE ACTIVE WEATHER IS EXPECTED IN WESTERN
KANSAS THROUGH THE WEEKEND, WITH TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE MID TO UPPER 20S FROM
EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH EASTERN KANSAS. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL REACH
INTO THE MID TO UPPER 50S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND WESTERN KANSAS,
WITH UPPER 50S TO AROUND 60 IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS.
