THE LIGHT RAIN THAT OCCURRED DURING THE EVENING HOURS MOVED EAST
INTO CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS BY MIDNIGHT, WITH PRECIPITATION
AMOUNTS A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS, WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS IN FAR
WESTERN KANSAS. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES DURING THE EVENING SLOWLY GAVE
WAY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES BY THIS MORNING. OVERNIGHT LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 20S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR
WESTERN KANSAS, TO THE LOW 30S IN SOUTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS.

A DEVELOPING UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH IN THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST WILL DIG SOUTH INTO THE INTERMOUNTAIN REGION THIS EVENING,
WHILE A SURFACE COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTH ACROSS KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. THE DEVELOPING UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL BRING AN
INCREASING CHANCE FOR SNOW TO WESTERN KANSAS TONIGHT INTO TOMORROW,
WITH SIGNIFICANT SNOW AMOUNTS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHEASTERN
COLORADO, WHERE NEARLY A FOOT OF SNOW MAY BE POSSIBLE. IN FAR
SOUTHWEST KANSAS, 6 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE, WITH LESSER
AMOUNTS FURTHER EAST. A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR
EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR WESTERN KANSAS, WITH A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY FOR MOST OF THE REST OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL ONLY REACH THE UPPER 30S TO LOW 40S IN
NORTHERN KANSAS, WITH MID 40S TO LOW 50S FROM CENTRAL THROUGH
SOUTHERN KANSAS. LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE LOW TO UPPER TEENS
ACROSS ALL BUT SOUTHEAST KANSAS, WHERE LOWS WILL BE IN THE LOW 20S.
