SKIES REMAINED MOSTLY CLEAR ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS DURING THE DAY
TODAY WITH A FEW HIGH BASE ALTOCUMULUS CLOUDS. CALM WEATHER WAS
SEEN WITH TEMPERATURES CLIMBING INTO THE MID TO UPPER 90S ACROSS
KANSAS. SOME AREAS IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE STATE
CROSSED ABOVE 100 DEGREES.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL DROP SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL PLAINS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, WHILE A COLD FRONT WILL
MOVE INTO NORTHERN OKLAHOMA FROM SOUTHERN KANSAS. THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE TOMORROW IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
MAY BE SEVERE WITH THE LARGEST THREAT BEING LARGE HAIL AND STRONG
WINDS.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE LOW TO MID 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND
NORTHWEST KANSAS WHILE THE REST OF KANSAS WILL REMAIN IN THE UPPER
60S AND LOWER 70S. TEMPERATURES WILL NOT BE QUITE AS WARM
TOMORROW AS THEY WERE TODAY WITH HIGHS IN THE LOW TO MID 80S IN
NORTHERN KANSAS WHILE THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE STATE MAY RISE UP
INTO THE LOW 90S.
