WESTERN KANSAS HAD A GENERALLY SUNNY SKY. THE MORNING LOW
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID TO UPPER 50S.

A RIDGE OF UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE ABOVE THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL
MOVE SOUTHEAST TODAY. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE ABOVE SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN COLORADO LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND INTO THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE EARLY TUESDAY. AT THE SURFACE, A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL STRENGTHEN IN EASTERN COLORADO AND A
NEARLY STATIONARY FRONT WILL REMAIN ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA. THERE
IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO FORM IN EASTERN COLORADO AND NEW
MEXICO AND MOVE EAST ACROSS NEBRASKA, KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA THIS
AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY. THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO DIMINISH
FROM THE WEST ON TUESDAY.

THE AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 80S ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED IN THE LOWER
50S ALONG THE WESTERN PARTS OF NEBRASKA AND KANSAS AND IN THE
OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS PANHANDLES.
