Low stratus clouds covered much of western Kansas last night.
Much of western Kansas received a good soaking of rain with
widespread coverage of 1-2 inches of rain yesterday. Some areas of
frost were likely seen as temperatures fell into the low 30s
across extreme western Kansas.

An upper level low pressure system will slowly move east across
northern Kansas this afternoon. At the surface, high pressure
will build across western Kansas. Conditions will begin to dry out
across the state as the wet weather moves out of the state. Winds
will be out of the northwest at around 15 mph today.

Highs today will range from the low to upper 40s in eastern
Colorado and northwestern Kansas to the upper 50s and lower 60s
across the central and eastern portions of the state. Lows
tonight will range from the low to upper 30s in eastern Colorado
and western Kansas to the low to mid 40s across the rest of the
state.
