THUNDERSTORMS RUMBLED ACROSS MUCH OF KANSAS OVERNIGHT. HEAVY
RAINS ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN KANSAS HAVE ALSO PRODUCED FLOODING IN
SEVERAL COUNTIES. LOCALIZED AREAS OF LANE AND MEADE COUNTY
RECEIVED UPWARDS OF MORE THAN 4 INCHES OF RAIN. LOW TEMPERATURES
OVERNIGHT DROPPED INTO THE LOW TO MID 50S IN WESTERN PORTIONS OF
KANSAS WHILE THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE REACHED
THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL APPROACH THE CENTRAL PLAINS THROUGH
THE AFTERNOON. SURFACE LOW PRESSURE IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO WILL
MOVE INTO WESTERN KANSAS AND WILL SIGNIFICANTLY STRENGTHEN
THROUGHOUT THE DAY. ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE WEATHER IS POSSIBLE
TODAY IN WESTERN KANSAS WITH CHANCES FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. AN ISOLATED TORNADO IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS SYSTEM.


HIGHS TODAY WILL REACH INTO THE UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S ACROSS
KANSAS. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW TO MID
50S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND WESTERN KANSAS, THE MID TO UPPER 50S
IN CENTRAL KANSAS, AND THE LOW TO MID 60S IN THE EASTERN PORTIONS
OF THE STATE.
