REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS
1110 AM CDT FRI JUL 18 2014

Low clouds kept skies mostly cloudy across Kansas overnight, with
areas of fog in portions of southern Kansas. Low temperatures were
primarily in the low 60 across Kansas, with the exception of
northwest Kansas, where lows were in the mid to upper 50s.

A weak upper level disturbance will cross Nebraska and Kansas this
afternoon, while surface high pressure ridging across the Central
Plains shifts east, as low pressure troughing develops to the lee of
the Rockies. Little active weather is expected over the next 24
hours in western Kansas, with temperatures warming, but still
remaining below normal.

High temperatures today will range from the upper 70s to low 80s
across all but the far western part of Kansas, where highs will
reach the mid 80s. Lows tonight will drop into the low 60s from
eastern Colorado through eastern Kansas.
