STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE QUICK TO DEVELOP ALONG THE
COLORADO FRONT RANGE EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. THESE STORMS EXPANDED
IN COVERAGE AS THEY DRIFTED ONTO THE ADJACENT PLAINS. AS THE EVENING
PROGRESSED, THESE STORMS CONTINUED ON A WEAKENING PATTERN AS THEY
MADE THEIR WAY ACROSS THE KANSAS BORDER. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY
RANGED FROM THE LOWER TO MID 80S FROM EASTERN COLORADO TO CENTRAL
KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVING ACROSS CENTRAL COLORADO THIS EVENING
WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. MEANWHILE,
SURFACE TROUGHING ON THE LEE SIDE OF THE ROCKIES WILL SLOWLY MOVE
INTO WESTERN KANSAS BY TUESDAY MORNING. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE LATER THIS EVENING AND ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN AS THEY MOVE
FURTHER EAST INTO KANSAS OVERNIGHT. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR
AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 40S IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE LOWER 60S ALONG THE OKLAHOMA BORDER.
HIGHS ON TUESDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 70S IN EASTERN COLORADO
TO THE MID 80S IN ALONG THE OKLAHOMA BORDER.
