A round of thunderstorms developed this afternoon along the Colorado
Front Range before drifting off into the adjacent plains. A few
thunderstorms developed across parts of western Kansas this
afternoon but quickly dissipated around sunset. High temperatures
today topped out into the mid and upper 90s from eastern Colorado to
central Kansas.

Upper level ridging over the Central Plains will drift off into the
nations midsection by late Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, an upper
level low pressure system will continue to move along the California
coastline tonight. Surface troughing across eastern Colorado will
show little to no eastward movement through late week. Partly cloudy
skies are expected tonight with breezy conditions and sunny skies
returning on Wednesday.

Lows tonight will range from the lower 60s in eastern Colorado to
the mid 70s in central Oklahoma. Highs on Wednesday will range from
the upper 80s in northeastern Colorado to the upper 90s in central
Oklahoma.
