...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN GRAY...EAST CENTRAL
SEWARD AND WESTERN MEADE COUNTIES UNTIL 230 AM CDT...

AT 143 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG
A LINE EXTENDING FROM 4 MILES SOUTH OF COPELAND TO 14 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF MEADE STATE PARK. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

NICKEL SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THESE STORMS. THESE STORMS ARE ALSO PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
MEADE...MONTEZUMA...MISSLER...MEADE STATE PARK...THE HAGGARD ELEV AND
PLAINS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY LEAD
TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
