...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TREGO AND
NORTHWESTERN ELLIS COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 535 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a pair of strong
thunderstorms from near Ogallah to 5 miles north of Ellis,
moving north-northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Wakeeney and Ogallah around 540 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
central and west central Kansas.
