...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FINNEY...
NORTHWESTERN GRAY AND NORTHEASTERN HASKELL COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM
CDT...

At 829 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Garden City, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Finney, northwestern Gray and northeastern Haskell Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
