southwestern Kansas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM
CDT/500 PM MDT/ FOR SOUTHERN HAMILTON AND STANTON COUNTIES...

At 531 PM CDT/431 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles
northwest of Manter, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Syracuse, Johnson City, Manter, Coolidge, and The Saunders Elevator.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT/1100 PM MDT/ for
southwestern Kansas.
