...The National Weather Service in Peachtree City GA has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...

  Talking Rock Creek near Hinton affecting Gilmer and Pickens
  Counties.

For the Coosawattee River Basin...including Ellijay, Ellijay,
Ellijay, Talking Rock, Hinton, Carters, Pine Chapel, Pine Chapel...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Talking Rock Creek near Hinton.

* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
  occurs in the woodlands upstream and downstream along the creek
  from the gage just downstream from the merger with Scarecorn Creek
  and off of Patterson Road. Rapid flowing water will cause erosion
  conditions to the banks and should not be crossed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
  - Flood stage is 10 feet.
